I disagree about the basket ball! What God has given to each of his children,(gifts salvation ex..) can not be knocked out of our hands.
We can not do anything to earn His salvation. (not by works)
However, Those (not) demanding ways work with peolpe, parents, and officials.
And it it is true, that no matter what happens God is God!
Please pray for My friend Crystal her house burned down to the ground last Sunday.
With all my Love for you and all my brothers and sisters at SBC (you are my family)!

With all love and respect for my brother and sister, i truly feel you completly missed the point. Jamie in no way was suggesting that salvation has to be earned or that it can be lost. I have been a member here at SBC for nearly 20 years and there are many things I have learned, still growing 50 years after accepting Christ. There are many things that are on the forefront of what we believe, but the way to salvation and what that means is what our foundation is built on and we are constantly reminded of this. If you have taken class 100,200,300, there is absolutly no question as to what we believe and why. Salavation is a free gift, and we can never loose it. Romans 8:28-39.

I will pray for Crystal, having experienced loosing everything in a fire, my heart goes out to her.

      Love in Christ…

Jamie, I agree with you and love this sermon. Reminds us that God truly does have no limits and that He wants to be part of our lives. What an awesome God! Thankyou for reminding us.
