I am speechless with this sermon as I am thankful. I am a single mother of a little girl. I have had some struggles with God and sad to say angry with him. I am aware that God has a plan, but with the horriftic acts that my daughter encountered within her four years I still have not seen the lessons behind it all. To explain a little bit more, my daughter was sexually molested by her older half brother. Every single obstacle to keep her safe was put in my way, even when I took “right path” by going to CPS and to the local law enforcement ro keep her safe, I was turned away and the only thing I had was mother instinct and the soft spoken words of my daughter that she spoke to me. Within this fight my Mom got laid off and I chose to pick up extra hours to help make ends meet, and when I didn’t think that it could get any worse, I was diagnosed with cancer…I am thankful for all of my blessings that I have encountered through last year to current, such as I was able to have my cancer removed without aggresive treatment other than surgery, that after the long grueling battle I was granted soul custody of my daughter to keep her safe from her perpertrator and that by the GRACE of God, I have been able to pay my bills and put food on the table each day. I still struggle to find the answers that I am looking for, but know that God has a plan in place…….

Bless you Jamie, even though we do not have “single parenting” as our personal pain. We learned so much through this sermon. Thank you again! We just wanted to comment on the previous comment by the single parent. She said she was granted the “soul” custody of her daughter. Don’t know if that was a typo, but what a beautiful gift of God’s Grace to receive “soul” custody after such horrific evil.

Thank you to Troy as well, we can’t believe how blest we get through the music…we hope you two don’t ever experience a moment of discouragement!
