      Tim,

I think you may have delivered the best Father’s Day sermon I’ve ever heard. You a real guy, but you’re also a real good guy. Your sermons encourage me as a man, and you make me want to walk closer with the Lord. I think that’s what a Christion leader’s job description should be, and you fill the bill in spades.

Thank you for your servant’s heart, and for not being an “Oprah man.” Too funny, but so on point.

We’re fortunate to have you as one of our new elders, and my wife and I will be praying for all of you this year.

      Thanks for the encouraging word,

      Steve Townsend

An Outstanding Sermon by Tim Kimmel………a real Red-blooded, Two-Fisted, All-American Sermon to Dads and Men who live here on Planet Earth! It struck at my heart, too, as a reminder of “deficiencies” over the years and a Need for Improvement. Our two children have turned out all right with their heads screwed on right but with no help from me. Tim’s sermon gave me hope and encouragement. I shall listen to it again.

God’s Blessing to Tim Kimmel and all the Pastoral Staff of SBC.

      Tim,
Home Run! This was an incredible sermon that was so honoring to my Husband, Dad, Father in law & Grandpa. I am so glad they all were there to hear it but I am equally excited that us wives got direction too. Thank you for encouraging us women & reminding us to come along side our men. Your wisdom spoken in this message is building up men and strengthening families. You are a blessing to every family you touch and thank you for touching my family, all 4 generations of them!
