Jonah 4:1-11

Tags: , ,

When I hear many believers today describe their Christian faith, I hear lots of descriptions about the lifestyle they now live (of not doing this or now doing that); or of the morality they now embrace (being pro this and anti that); or I hear about the political stance they now have and the social issues they believe matter most; or I hear about the different theological views and beliefs they ascribe to (being pre this or post that) – but not near enough do I hear about what the heart of the Christian faith is all about: which is an intimate, growing love relationship with one’s heavenly Father that comes through personal relationship with God’s Son, Jesus Christ!

      Hi Guys,

What can I say awesome teaching both impacting and entertaining. The message is so simple to follow and understand. Just stirs my heart and exites me. God is so awesome.

I put the podcast on to catch up on the Jonah series on my laptop. I was in the kitchen getting tea and breakfast with the idea that I would multitask my way through the “sermon catch up”. Once past Jamie’s opening remarks and my obligatory fidgeting., I managed to sit down, for just a minute, I thought. I never moved another muscle, and daydreamed not once until the last word. I want to be used by God like that. I know, “Be careful what you ask for….”
