I listened to this sermon because of the recommendation of PM Worship Leader, Kim Larson. This sermon was a sweet and potent infusion of the Gospel that sent a sweet aroma up to our worthy Lord Jesus Christ.
However, in the evening Torie’s testimony moved me deeply. Her message was magnified by the delivery of an articulate and inspiring message by the same pastor that over saw the ministry within which she professed her faith. The Pastor of Student Ministries, Randy Walters, didn’t even know Torie and I think was blessed to witness the fruit of his labor. I hope the AM Services are given an opportunity to experience these two blessed messengers as well.
My wife and I were in Phoenix from Iowa for a wedding and, through a happenstance lunch with a friend from Iowa who lives in Scottsdale and goes to SBC, found out about SBC and came for the Christian Essentials class with Dr. Grudem and attended the 11:15 service.
Thanks so much to both Dr. Grudem and Dr. Hawkins for their clear Biblical teaching. Thanks to SBC for surrounding yourselves with the likes of these godly men who unapolgetically stand on God’s Word.
