Great, real, teaching that is helpful and beneficial.
We need His Word…
Take the step of obedience. Keep taking the steps of obedience to seek Him, gain knowledge, get wisdom.
Joe reminds us that Yahweh is the lover of our souls. We are blessed when we delight on and meditate on His Word day and night and follow His instructions. It is so true, straight, convicting… Plant yourself by the rivers of water…
He is so correct. Getting rid of some of the excess, and replace it with the Word of God. Are we filling our souls with the knowledge that comes from the Lover of our souls? Something to pray about. There IS joy in loving God’s Word. As you search for the nuggets, the treasures in there, your heart does delight in His Word. He is the Word. If we spend time in His Word, we want to devour it. His thoughts become more of our thoughts and then we begin to understand PS 94:19. In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight me.
The end, when he speaks about the love letters. Re-reading, reading between the lines, etc. It really explains it well. I was taking care of 8 sick people. I did not see, Palm Sunday’s sermon, or Easter Sunday. I am glad now, that I wasn’t there. I can cry my happy tears at home, as I catch up on what I missed. Don’t miss it yourself!
