This sermon was one of the best and most meaningful one I have ever seen. My father, a very religious Jewish man, passed away in 1978. Today is his birthday, and I am missing him terribly. I just happened to watch this sermon on this day..I have been richly blessed,as has been his memory. His sister’s( my aunt’s) name was Esther.. God does work in mysterious ways to bless us. Thank you again and again for this Mr. Sunukian.
What a blessing and a total ‘God-thing’ to hear Don’s monologue of Esther today. When I was in High School (I’m now in my 40s!), Don did this monologue for a Sunday morning service–one of several over the years he was Senior Pastor at SBC–and it has always stuck with me. Esther is still one of my favorite books of the Bible because of it. Now living in northern CA, our Women’s Bible Study is doing Esther for our Fall study and I’ve meant to see if a copy of the sermon from years ago was available since I had told our study group about Don’s Harbona ‘sermon monologue’. Thank you, Don, for sharing once again from God’s word and from your heart. God has blessed me through you! Peggy LaRue
